This has been one of the most exceptional of Steelpro’s exported stairway and glass railing projects. Our company supplied two open stairways according to the customer’s dimensions from two production units in Finland to the construction site in southern Sweden.
The stairways were installed in the well-lit and spacious lobby of the building housing the municipal offices. The first stairway was installed between the ground floor and the first floor and it is 7 metres long and 1620 mm wide. The second stairway connects the first and the second floor, and it is 7.2 metres long and 1445 mm in width.
The lightweight structure of the stairways and the installation method without need for hot-work enabled the project to be carried out in a relatively short period of time. The open steps of the stairways and the glass railings without upright poles let more natural light into the facility.
Steelpro provided the installation contractor with technical support in both the stairway installation and the glass railings throughout the project.
